What to expect from the conversion.

Is the output editable?

Yes. The goal is to create Google Slides content you can edit and reuse, not just flat screenshots.

Do you store my PDFs?

Your original PDF stays in your browser. The extension does not use Google API permissions to upload temporary conversion assets to your Drive or share them by link, and the service does not store your original PDFs on its own servers.

What quality should I expect from the conversion?

PDFs are complex, and a perfect 1:1 match is not always possible. The goal is to give you an editable Google Slides version much faster than rebuilding everything from scratch.

  • Slide size: preserved from the original PDF.
  • Text: editable, but alignment, line breaks, and paragraph flow may vary.
  • Tables: small tables may stay editable; larger ones may be converted to images.
  • Images and icons: extracted where possible, though some elements may be merged or split.
  • Links: preserved when possible, but they can sometimes affect text flow.
  • Colors: small visual differences may appear.
  • Fonts: matched to the closest available option in Google Slides, and some manual adjustment may still be needed.
Do I need a Google account?

Yes. You need a Google account to open the output in Google Slides, but the extension's Google API access is limited to drive.info.
